We first noticed something was wrong when we started experiencing repeated air conditioner troubles, the repairman could not find any trouble with the unit so he gave it a thorough cleaning due to heavy corrosion. The electrical started giving us trouble with outlets and light fixtures not working, then family members started getting sick. (nose bleeds, sinus, & breathing problems). I hired an environmental company to come in and test the air.I was thinking we had a mold problem. When the test results came back, no mold as identified but, the informed us that there was something in our home that was not common to our area. They could not identify exactly what it was. My family's illness continued to worsen then we started to notice that when we would leave the house for another trip to the doctor, the symptoms would seam to lessen. Then when we would return, the symptoms would start again,concluding that it was something in the house causing our illness. I had no choice, I had to move my family out of that house. I contacted my home owners insurance and I was informed that this was not covered being it was from the original construction. I contacted my mortgage company, they told me that I could sell the house if I could no longer live there. They advised me not to disclose the suspected problem or it would never sell. I told them I could not do that and their response was that it wasn't their problem as long as I continued to make my payments. I could not afford to continue the monthly payments, rent another house for my family, and do the repairs needed. Now They are in the process of foreclosing on the property and will sell it in a sheriffs auction and will not disclose the possible problems. Unable to find any help.
